Quoting GSMArena, in a photo uploaded by founder Xiaomi Lei Jun on his Weibo account, Mi Watch has an appearance similar to Apple Watch, particularly with a square screen design with one button on the top right-hand side. Lei Jun called Mi Watch a ‘smartphone for your wrist’. Because the smartwatch will be equipped with WiFi, GPS, NFC, and Qualcomm chipsets.
Mi Watch will come in a choice of black and silver. There is no leakage related to the price, but the smartwatch should be priced cheaper than Apple Watch which has a price tag of US $399 (approx. N145,000 naira in Nigeria). In the event that will be held on November 5, 2019, Xiaomi will also release the latest smartphone Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 and Mi TV with 4K quantum-dot technology.
