Because it is the first retail store, Google wants to make sure this store has a very distinctive impression with Google, specifically minimalism and also environmentally friendly. Almost all the elements in this store come in a light brown colour that makes visitors feel comfortable and at home when visiting or buying products at the store. Products made by Google such as Pixel smartphones to Chromebook laptops are placed on oval tables where visitors can sit and try them out. Google also said that its first store was also built using recycled materials so that it can attain the LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council. In addition, there is also a wall that comes with square-shaped shelves, each of which contains a product that has been made by Google.
